Guarantee Asset Protection (GAP)
Guarantee Asset Purchase offers you protection if your vehicle is stolen or involved in a total loss accident and the insurance valuation of your vehicle is less than the amount outstanding on your finance deal. This insurance will pay the balance between your finance settlement and your insurance payout. A policy of this sort is recommended when a customer takes out a finance agreement and low percentage deposit is paid.
Return To Invoice
Return To Invoice offers you protection in a similar way to GAP however instead of paying out the balance between the insurance valuation and any outstanding finance it pays the difference between the insurance valuation and the original purchase price. This policy is recommended.
